DIY CBD BATH BOMB RECIPE FOR POST-WORKOUT RECOVERY

Having CBD in your daily routine can be beneficial since you will gain from the beneficial properties of the human body. Hemp and hemp products are legal and can be found in retail and online stores.

CBD products can be used topically orally or by vaping. Bath bombs interact with the endocannabinoid receptors in the body through the skin. CBD is available for all consumers since you can experience the fizzy sensation from using the DIY bath bombs as long as you have the ingredients needed. CBD Bath bombs are not only to clean the body but also to enhance boy relaxation.

    What are CBD bath bombs?

CBD Bath bombs are balls infused with CBD extract used for bathing to enhance the experience and benefit from the CBD. Bath bombs contain essential oils, cannabinoids, and fragrances; some can be added to coloring for fun and attraction. Zenone et al. (2020) noted that CBD bath bombs interact with the skin to provide health benefits.

CBD bath bombs work like the other bath bombs. They are added to the water, where they release the content to the water that will penetrate the body through the skin, enjoying the healing. Although CBD and THC are derived from the same plant, it does not alter the mental state when used. Therefore, you will not experience their psychoactive property when using bath bombs.

    Types Of CBD Bath Bombs

There are different types of CBD bath bombs; therefore, knowing them will make it easy for you when choosing a product. CBD bath bombs are designed based on the type of CBD it contains. Choose the one that offers properties that you are interested in.

    Full-Spectrum CBD Bath Bombs

Full-spectrum contains all the chemical compounds contained in the plant, including THC, less than 0.3%, terpenes, cannabinoids, and essential oils. Since it contains THC, there are chances that it can produce false-positive results when tested mainly for people using the full spectrum CBD bath bombs. This does not prevent you from experiencing the health benefits of CBD.

    The Broad-Spectrum CBD Bath Bombs

CBD's broad spectrum contains all the compounds from the plant except THC. Therefore, when using this bath bomb, you are guaranteed to benefit from all the other compounds, excluding the THC. Unlike the full spectrum, you will not have false-positive results.

    CBD Isolate Bath Bombs

CBD isolate bath bombs do not contain other compounds that complement CBD from the plant. It is the purest form of CBD; the product is less costly than full and broad-spectrum CBD; however, you can benefit from the health effect property of CBD.

An increase in dosage of CBD isolates designed bath bombs does not increase the effect, which is the difference where an increase in full or broad-spectrum CBD bath bombs increases its effectiveness.

    How to Use Bath Bombs

    • Drop the bath bomb in the warm bathing tub water, and leave it for some time to dissolve in water (releases the content into the water). Soak your body for 20 minutes to allow the content to be absorbed by the skin. Do not splash water into the mouth or eyes.

The Importance Of CBD Bath Bombs

    It Improves Sleep Quality

According to Teitelbaum (2019), CBD can relax the body and the mind and thus reduce insomnia. When the mind and the body are calm, you can get the good sleep quality you deserve since stress increases insomnia.

    Relieves Muscle Pain and Soreness

According to Überall (2020), CBD bath bombs are used topically; they help relieve muscle soreness and joint pains when absorbed into the skin. The study above also noted that CBD interacts with the endocannabinoid receptors in the skin to cause healing.

    Offset Anxiety and Depression

According to García-Gutiérrez et al. (2020),  CBD is widely spread, and people use it to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression.

    Detoxifies the Body

Liresti et al. (2016) discovered that CBD interacts with the endocannabinoid receptors in the body to prevent homeostasis from taking place in various body organs such as the gut, liver, and kidney. According to Mansee et al. (2025), CBD helps restore the gut's health, improve the kidney's and the liver's functionality, and reduce pain and insomnia. According to Leparski (2019),  CBD can reduce the body's build-up of hormones, preventing signs of hormonal imbalance such as acne, mood swings, headache, and eczema. Ross (2021) revealed that CBD also acts as a detoxifier for alcohol, drugs, and junk foods by reducing anxiety and stress. People with anxiety might be addicted to drugs; therefore, it can help them manage addiction and cravings, reducing the physical symptoms.

    Conclusion

CBD can help treat some skin problems, including acne and dry skin. It can also be the best experience after a long, stressful day. You can make the DIY bath bombs ready for your next workout. It would be best if you considered choosing the ingredients that cannot react with your skin. When buying the products, buy from a reputable company or brand to have a good quality product to serve your needs. There is no exact dosage for CBD bath bombs; therefore, the user must know the dosage that serves their needs. However, when using any other medication, you should consult your doctor before using any CBD product to confirm any potential reactions.
