    How To Figure Out the Right Dosage of Different CBD Products?

    It is always important to check on the proper dosage of CBD products before consuming them. It is to avoid any risk associated when one takes too much of it and help get their effects. Some of the issues discussed in this article include; how to choose the right dosage, getting the right dosage, and the probability of consuming too much CBD.

    Knowing the right dosage for the CBD product may seem like a lot of work. However, if one regularly consumes CBD, one must check the dosage. It is because the CBD product may have the presence of the psychoactive compound THC, which may bring out a high effect on an individual. Therefore, if you fail to check the dosage, you may overdose and get a high stoning effect.

    How To Know the Right Amount of CBD To Consume

    For one to be sure of the correct amount of CBD to consume, many factors must be implemented. Some of the factors include;

    • The condition one aims to treat
    • The body weight of an individual
    • CBD concentration in the gummies, capsules, and pill
    • The body chemistry of an individual

    It means that there are many things to keep in mind before settling on the intake of CBD. However, one needs to talk to a health practitioner so that they may talk you through the dosage and the risks that are accompanied by the consumption. Do not overdose, especially when using them for medicinal purposes. If it gets hard to consult your doctor, the best thing would be to start with a small dosage, and you can increase the dosage gradually as you get used to t for some time. The effectiveness will determine if you will need to up the dosage or if one is good to go with the one they are currently consuming. Shannon & Opila-Lehman (2015) stated that it will also be a great idea to track the amount of CBD they consume and whether the symptoms are improving through the consumption of the CBD products.

    How To Get the Right Dosage?

    According to McGregor et al. (2020), most CBD products can give out information on the serving. The capsules, gummies, and pills may tell the number of CBD grams in the capsules. To know the right dosage amount, you may need to check on the packaging as it may have the necessary information. That way, people can be sure about how much CBD they consume. However, there are instances in which the packaging may not specify the right dosage, especially in dropper bottles. They may indicate the dosage of the whole CBD but not how many drops one should take.

    Is There a Probability of One Consuming A Lot of CBD?

    In most cases, CBD has been known to have no issues with regular intake. It can be managed and tolerated even when consumed in high doses. However, some instances may cause some damage to the liver. It may also interact with some medications and their effects if you are taking one. You should talk with the doctor before deciding to consume CBD products. Some side effects may be evident when one consumes CBD. Some of the side effects include

    • Dry mouth
    • Diarrhea
    • Fluctuating weight
    • Fatigue
    • Loss of appetite

    Why CBD May Not Be Working for You?

    Unreliable Source

    CBD products have been on the rise for some time. They are now sold in various online shops and others from over-the-counter shops. It has made most manufacturers start selling counterfeit CBD products. These products may not have CBD that is of high quality. Since the FDA has not regulated, the manufacturers have decided to swing on this advantage and start selling low-quality products and some that haven't been labeled properly. To check on this issue, the next time you plan on investing in products, you should check on the following issues;

    • Reviews from different consumers
    • Ensure third-party lab tests
    • From reliable source
    • The delivery Method

    There are many ways that one can consume CBD products. One can always try a different method if one method does not work for you. Some of the common methods by that one can consume CBD products include;

    • Topicals
    • Tinctures
    • Capsules
    • Vapes
    • Edibles

    Most of the time, people check the rate at which an individual consumes CBD and how it gets into the bloodstream. There are several ways in which CBD may get into the bloodstream. For gummies, they have to be digested first before they get into the bloodstream. According to Vardoulakiset al (2020), this may mean that some of the CBD that may get into the bloodstream may be so low compared to the consumed one. With tinctures, they are great because they need to be placed under the tongue, and the mucous membrane absorbs it and goes straight to the bloodstream. The tincture method is quick, and the effects will be noticed faster than edible consumption. It may also vary with the effects that one aims to get. It may mean that one has to find the most effective method to get the effects faster. Edibles won't be that effective in treating sore muscles like topical would.

    CBD Products May Not Be Your Best Choice

    According to Wang et al. (2020), just because CBD is popular doesn't mean it will work best for everybody. The reaction and absorption of CBD depend on several factors. Some of these factors include;

    • Genetics
    • Metabolism
    • Biochemistry

    The endocannabinoid system has many active components that react differently in an individual's body. Factors like genetic mutation may bring about the issue of producing extra endocannabinoids, making it difficult to know if the effects have been felt. Learn more about how many puffs should i take

    Conclusion

    Many factors may play a role in determining the right dosage for an individual to consume CBD products. Most of the time, the conditions one aims to treat and the concentration of the CBD product may play a big factor in figuring out the right dosage. It is important to check on all the factors so that you may be able to avoid the risk of overdosing or even still underdosing, as you may not get the benefits that you want to achieve as your end goal.
