I recently purchased a pack of 40 Clipper Splyft Black Large Classic Refillable Lighters, and here's my take on them after using them for a while.
First off, these lighters are indeed large, and that's a plus for anyone who has struggled with tiny disposable lighters in the past. They are easy to hold, and the size makes them less likely to get lost in your pocket or around the house.
Refillability is a significant feature for me, as it's more environmentally friendly than using disposable lighters. These Clippers are simple to refill with butane, and I appreciate the option to reduce waste.
The design is sleek and straightforward. The matte black finish gives them a modern look, and the Splyft branding is subtle. They feel solid in your hand, and the flint wheel sparks reliably to ignite whatever you need.
One downside I've noticed is that the ignition switch can be a bit stiff, especially when you're using it frequently. It's not a deal-breaker, but it does require a bit more effort compared to some other lighters I've used.
Another minor point to mention is that the flame adjuster at the bottom of the lighter is a bit sensitive. It's easy to unintentionally turn the flame up or down, so you have to pay attention to it.
In summary, the 40 Clipper Splyft Black Large Classic Refillable Lighters are a good choice if you prefer larger, refillable lighters. They have a stylish design, are easy to refill, and feel durable. However, the ignition switch can be a bit stiff, and the flame adjuster is sensitive. Overall, they get the job done.
