Your Daily Dose of ACV – In a Moreish Champagne Cocktail

We all know that a shot of apple cider vinegar is a potent immune booster – but it’s not the most palatable of supplements! That’s all set to change with this seasonal twist on the classic French 75.

Combining your daily dose of AVC with antioxidant-rich raw honey and earthy sage; it’s the ultimate way to get that virtuous glow this festive season. For a milder, slightly sweeter blend, use live or home-fermented apple cider vinegar – but it’s also perfect as is.

Apple and Sage 75 | Serves 1 


1 shot Calvados (or other apple brandy)
½ shot apple cider vinegar
½ shot raw honey and sage syrup 
(1:1 ratio of raw honey to boiling water. For a single drink, 2 teaspoons honey and 2 teaspoons water will suffice. Add one bruised sage leaf per teaspoon of honey, shake to combine and leave for at least half an hour to infuse)

Champagne to top up


1. Combine the syrup, Calvados and vinegar in a cocktail shaker

2. Half fill with ice and shake vigorously

3. Strain into a chilled flute and top up with Champagne. Be careful! The vinegar can make the Champagne fizz up if you don’t pour slowly

4. Garnish with sage leaves
