I’ve been using the Aspire Minican Replacement Pods (0.8Ω/1.2Ω) for a while now, and here’s my honest take based on my experience.
Let’s start with the design and usability. The pods are easy to fill with the side-fill port and have a secure fit in the Minican device. I haven’t encountered any leaking issues, which is great. The 2ml capacity is adequate for a pod of this size, though I do find myself refilling it fairly often, especially with heavier use throughout the day.
In terms of performance, I’ve tried both the 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω pods. The 0.8Ω pod is geared towards a slightly warmer and more flavorful vape, which I enjoyed with fruity and dessert e-liquids. It provides a good balance of flavor and vapor production, considering its size. On the other hand, the 1.2Ω pod delivers a cooler vape suitable for a tighter draw, which is great for nicotine salts or a more discreet vaping experience.
One of the strengths of these pods is their longevity. I’ve found that they hold up well over time, maintaining good flavor and performance even after multiple refills. This durability is definitely a plus, as it saves on replacement costs and hassle.
There are a couple of drawbacks to consider. Firstly, the airflow is fixed, so you can’t adjust it to your preference. It’s set for a restricted MTL draw, which works fine for me but might not suit vapers who prefer more airflow options. Secondly, while the flavor is generally good, it can occasionally feel slightly muted compared to higher wattage devices or larger tanks.
The Aspire Minican Replacement Pods are reliable and deliver decent flavor with good longevity. They’re easy to use and fit well with the Minican device. Just be aware of the fixed airflow and minor nuances in flavor intensity.
