Holding 2ml e-liquid capacity, these Voopoo VMATE replacement pods are ideal for MTL vapers. Choose from either 0.7Ω and 1.2Ω coil resistances as either are pre-installed inside the pod to suit one's preference, the former suited for 70VG/30PG e-liquids and the latter for more vapour. Made from PCTG with a silver ion mouthpiece, they are easy to refill from the side slot. Both pods are designed for the Voopoo VMATE E and Voopoo VMATE Infinity Edition Pod Kits.
I recently picked up the VooPoo Vmate V2 Replacement Pod Cartridges, and after giving them a go for a while, I thought I'd share my honest thoughts.
First off, let's talk about the pros. These pods are well-designed and fit seamlessly into the Vmate V2 device. The 2ml capacity is decent, and the 0.7ohm and 1.2ohm options provide a good range for different vaping preferences. I particularly enjoyed the ease of filling - no mess, no fuss.
One of the highlights for me was the flavor production. The 0.7ohm pod delivered a rich, full taste that really enhanced my vaping experience. It's definitely on par with some of the better pods I've tried.
However, there were a couple of drawbacks worth mentioning. First, the 1.2ohm pod didn't quite hit the mark for me. While it's marketed as a MTL option, I found the draw to be a bit too airy for my liking. It lacked the tightness I usually associate with MTL devices.
Additionally, I noticed a slight inconsistency in pod lifespan. The 0.7ohm pod seemed to go the distance, but the 1.2ohm one started to show signs of wear and tear sooner than expected. It's possible I got a bit of a dud, but it's worth keeping in mind.
In terms of airflow adjustment, I appreciated the options available. It allowed me to fine-tune my experience to some extent, though as I mentioned earlier, the MTL setting didn't quite nail it.
Overall, the VooPoo Vmate V2 Replacement Pods have their merits. The flavor on the 0.7ohm pod is impressive, and they're user-friendly in terms of installation and filling. However, the inconsistency in pod lifespan and the less-than-ideal MTL experience with the 1.2ohm pod were letdowns. If you're primarily into sub-ohm vaping, these could be a solid choice, but if MTL is your thing, you might want to explore other options.
