    ) CO2 can be used in extracting CBD; this is a much more reliable method since it does not involve chemicals.

    Ensure that your oil is organic, rich in nutrients, and free of contaminated soil. (US-grown hemp is emphasized since it is grown under agricultural regulations.

    Have a third-party testing lab certification to make sure it is of good quality and free from contaminants such as pesticides and heavy metals

    Using Saponification And Heat

    Ardiyanti et al.(2020) stated that saponification is the process by which the solution is made and combined with chemicals, breaking down and forming fatty acids chain. Heating the solution evaporates water making the solution solid. The health should be high; however, CBD loses its potency at about 300degrees.

    CBD Soap Recipe

    Ingredients

    5 Oz of cocoa oil

    5 Oz of shea butter

    5 Oz of castor oil

    5 Oz avocado oil

    10 Oz coconut oil

    11.9 Oz filtered water

    4.1 Oz of lye

    1 Oz of essential oil (your choice)

    The desired amount of CBD oil

    Requirements

    Plastic spatula

    Hand mixer

    Old plastic container (for lye)

    Thermometer

    Stainless steel spoon

    Soap mold

    stainless steel pot

    gloves, goggles, and mask.

    Procedure

    • Mix coconut butter, shea butter, castor oil, avocado oil, and CBD oil in a steel pot using low heat to melt. Continuous stir to combine them well. Use a thermometer to measure the temperature up to 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
    • Add the filtered water and slowly pour it into the lye; since the solution might explode, stir them to mix well; they will heat up.
    • Cool the solution to about 95 and 100 degrees.
    • When the mixture is at 95 and 100 degrees, pour them into the pot of oils blend using a hand mixer for at least 3 minutes to make sure they are well combined.
    • Add essential oil of your choice.
    • Use a spatula to pour the mixture into a soap mold
    • Use a towel cover and insulate the mold for 24 hours
    • Remove the soap after 24 hours, cut them into desirable pieces, and put them in a clean and dry place. Occasionally turn them to dry both sides.

    Caution is careful while handling lye since it is caustic when it stays on your skin. It can be good when you carry the step outside and have the protective clothes on. However, when you do not want to use lye, it can be avoided but still have your CBD soap.

    The desired amount of CBD oil

    1 pound of melt and pour soap base (goat milk aloe vera)

    0.25 to 0.5 Oz of fragrances, essential oil, soap-safe colorants, or herbal additives (optional).

    Microwave

    Spoon or spatula

    Soap molds towel heated butcher or knife

    Towel

    Procedure

    • Cut the soap base into two-inch cubes and heat them in the microwave until they are melted and stir between the heating.
    • When the soap is fully melted, sir your CBD oil and mix them well
    • Add the fragrances and essential oil of your choice
    • Pour the solution into the soap mold and leave them to harden completely.
    • Use a towel to insulate them

    Anyone can use CBD for any skin type. This is because CBD has different benefits that make it beneficial for any skin (oily, normal, sensitive, and dry skin). CBD products can be found in any store in the market and oil, but getting the bests quality and genuine product to serve your needs might be hard.
