    CBD + Arnica for Physical Discomfort

    CBD and arnica are used when minimizing physical discomfort. They are mostly used in massage and treating injuries and bruises. However, precautions should be taken when consuming these products. Pregnant women and those with digestion issues should ensure they do not consume these products.

    Many factors can bring about physical discomfort. It may be through inflammation, pain, and even injuries in the body. In most cases, people have relied on medicinal drugs so that they can be able to make themselves comfortable. This may bring about some side effects. The rise of CBD products made some individuals use them to minimize the physical discomfort. Well, they have been great in some way, but adding arnica products works great in boosting the benefits of the CBD + Arnica products. This article delves deep into how CBD and arnica assist in relieving physical discomfort.

    What is CBD?

    CBD is the natural and active compound found in the cannabis plant. It is a psychotropic compound and thus cannot produce the psychoactive effect.

    Types of CBD

    Full-spectrum CBD

    Full-spectrum CBD is at times known as whole-plant cannabis. This is because it has the presence of all the compounds found in the cannabis plant. Some of the compounds that are found in the full-spectrum CBD are THC, flavonoids, and terpenes. This makes it known as the most active type of CBD as the different compounds work together to give out their effects.

    Broad-spectrum CBD

    Broad-spectrum CBD has almost all the compounds in the cannabis plant. The only thing that it does not have is the THC compound. At times it may look similar to the broad spectrum, except that the broad spectrum does not have the THC compound. There are instances in which the THC compound can be found in small traces but cannot cause a high effect in individuals.

    Isolate-based CBD

    Isolate-based CBD does not have the presence of the compounds found in the cannabis plant. It goes through several processes to ensure that all the compounds found in the cannabis plant are removed. This makes it the least active type of CBD. Most people that use isolate-based CBD are those that do not want to have to consume the THC compound.

    Benefits of Arnica + CBD

    Arnica has several benefits for the human body. Most of the benefits are about assisting in minimizing physical discomfort. Some of the benefits include managing bruises, swelling, and bleeding. It can also assist in minimizing the pain that may be caused by surgery and sore throat.

    When CBD and Arnica are used together, they can give great results as CBD is also known to have its benefits. Some of the benefits of CBD and arnica in treating physical discomfort include;

    CBD + Arnica In Massage

    According to Chiranthanut et al. (2014), CBD oil has mostly been used in massage sessions. However, when people learned about arnica, they found it a great addition to massage. Not only does it give a great aroma, but it is also great in minimizing discomfort and managing pain in individuals.

    CBD + Arnica In Treating Bruises

    When a person gets injured, they are likely to have some bruises. The bruises occur when some small blood vessels found beneath the skin are damaged, even with the smallest effect. This may cause the blood to be stored beneath the skin. The stored blood may be reabsorbed over time by the body. However, it may take some time, and the bruises may turn ugly. Vollmer (2020) stated that CBD and Arnica have anti-inflammatory properties that assist in fastening the healing process of bruises.

    CBD + Arnica in Treating Injuries

    Turner et al. (2021) suggested that CBD and arnica can be used in managing discomfort and pain. The best product to use in this case is the salve. Mostly, injuries may be associated with some numbness. CBD arnica salve can assist in relieving the pain. The great thing about the CBD Arnica salve is that it has a sweet smell; hence cannot leave an awful smell on the area where it has been applied.

    Is CBD + Arnica Safe For Consumption?

    Since arnica is a natural plant, it has no side effects on the human body. However, CBD, on the other hand, poses a great danger when used with some essential oils and other products. Some of the side effects that CBD and arnica may bring about include;

    • Vomiting
    • Diarrhea
    • Stomachache
    • Nausea

    Where Can One Find the CBD + Arnica Products?

    Evans (2020) suggested that when looking for CBD and arnica products, it is always great to consider buying from a reputable store or seller. Most hemp-derived products are found in food stores. This is because they do not have the presence of a THC factor. However, CBD derived from the cannabis plant is mostly found in dispensaries, and mostly used for medicinal purposes. They can also be found in online stores. However, be sure to buy from a reputable store.

    Precautions To Have When Consuming CBD + Arnica Products

    Pregnant Women

    Women who are breastfeeding and pregnant are advised against consuming CBD and arnica products as they may affect the baby.

    Digestion Problems

    Some digestion problems that are mostly known include bowel syndrome and ulcers. Individuals with these digestion problems should not consume CBD and arnica products as they may irritate their digestive system.

    Conclusion

    As discussed in the article above, CBD and arnica have a lot of benefits to the human body. They have been known to be great, especially in dealing with issues related to physical discomfort. You can either use them orally through edibles, tinctures, or topicals. Most people use them topically as they do not want to consume CBD products. However, before consuming CBD and arnica products, a person should seek medical advice from a health practitioner. This will help them know the dosage and how to use the products so they may not abuse them.
