    HOW TO VAPE WAX CBD

There's no doubt that the CBD industry is growing. CBD has become a multi-billion-dollar industry. This could be accredited to the legalization of hemp products in 2018, which made CBD more accessible for medical, commercial, and recreational use. Athletes benefit from using CBD products since they aid in reducing pain and inflammation.

CBD can be consumed in several ways, such as through CBD capsules, gummies, tinctures, oils, and even topical CBD. However, vaping CBD oil has become popular, especially among teenagers and young adults. Vaping provides the advantage of quickly feeling the effects of CBD wax since CBD is directly absorbed into the bloodstream when inhaled into the lungs. However, vaping may pose problems, especially if the quality of CBD is low. This article delves deeper into CBD wax, how to vape it, potential benefits and effects, how it's extracted, and safety precautions.

    HOW TO VAPE WAX CBD

    What Is CBD Wax?

CBD wax refers to a highly concentrated CBD extract that remains unaltered. CBD wax has a significantly higher potency; therefore, you would only need a small amount of CBD wax to maximize its effects fully.

McFadden et al. (2021) suggested that CBD is a non-psychoactive chemical compound in hemp. Besides marijuana, cannabis is a strain of hemp. Therefore, using CD wax does not make users feel "high" as commonly mistaken.

CBD contains other chemical compounds such as THC, terpenes, and flavonoids. However, psychoactive THC, responsible for the high sensation felt after using cannabis, is present in traces (0.3%) and, therefore, cannot cause any intoxication to the user. According to Wu et al. (2021), terpenes have anti-depressant properties that help alleviate stress and anxiety, while flavonoids prevent body cells from oxidative damage.

The rise of vaping CBD wax

Jones& Salzman (2020) explained that in the 21st century, vaping had become a much more common practice among the youth. Vape oil pens were primarily filled with nicotine and vape juice. As time went by, more people began to embrace vaping CBD oil. Vaping is popular since the vape oil pens are small, discreet, and light. More people are investigating better ways of extracting CBD using consumer-friendly and environmentally friendly methods.

    Is CBD legal?

The Farm Bill was passed in 2018. It sought to redefine hemp according to the Controlled Substances Act, and therefore hemp was removed from the legal definition of marijuana. This legislation was deemed "revolutionary" by medics and CBD enthusiasts alike due to the countless benefits offered by CBD. However, state governments developed laws that would regulate CBD use within individual states. Seventeen states have legalized CBD for medical and recreational use.

    How Does CBD Wax Feel?

CBD wax offers a relaxing feeling to the mind since it helps in relieving anxiety and stress. This is done through the interaction of CBD with the endocannabinoid system in the brain, leading to the secretion of higher serotonin levels. Serotonin regulates anxiety levels, facilitates sleep, and wound healing. According to Cowen et al. (2015), lower levels of serotonin are associated with people having depression and anxiety disorders.

Furthermore, CBD wax provides a calming feeling since it improves sleep. CA (2018) stated that the melatonin hormone usually triggers sleep, and its levels increase when CBD wax interacts with the endocannabinoid system. A good night's sleep helps improve cognitive function, restore body cells and remove toxic substances.

According to Eskander et al. (2020), CBD wax also has other therapeutic effects, such as relieving muscle pain and inflammation. Athletes usually experience such pains, especially after an intense workout. They also experience anxiety before participating in a competition.

CBD has no intoxicating effects as commonly thought. Therefore, one does not need to worry about feeling 'high" after using CBD wax.

    How To Vape CBD Wax

    • Load a small amount of CBD wax into the chamber
    • Do not overload the chamber. Otherwise, you may risk clogging it, which will significantly reduce the vape pen's longevity.
    • Gently push the fire button on the pen. This is done to melt the wax slightly.
    • Take small puffs while holding the button.
    • To prevent it from overheating, you can pulse the fire button while inhaling the CBD wax.
    • Between each puff, take a break for a few minutes.

CBD wax can be inhaled (or vaped) using CBD vape oil pens. These pens are usually rechargeable, while some are disposable. Disposable vape pens often have a prefilled tank and coil, while refillable vape pens have various cartridges and atomizers.

Refillable and disposable vape pens come in two types: draw-activated vape pens and push-button vape pens.

Push-button vape pens must be turned on before they are used. The "switch on" button is pressed at least 5 times continuously. Other vape pens allow you to preheat the wax by pressing the button twice. Additionally, some vape pens allow users to adjust the voltage output to their preference.

Draw-activated vape pens are activated when you puff on them. They have no buttons to push and do not require to be switched on. They are relatively easier to use but offer fewer options than push-button vape pens. Learn more about what are cbd cartridges?

    How To Extract CBD Wax

CBD wax can primarily be extracted through lipid extraction, alcohol extraction, and CO2 extraction. However, CO2 extraction and alcohol extraction is the most common extraction methods.

Alcohol extraction – This process involves using butane to pull out essential oils such as terpenes and flavonoids. It is a resourceful extraction method since it can be replicated at home and is cheaper than CO2 extraction. However, butane is dangerous since it's toxic and highly flammable. Moreover, residual solvents could be left behind, interfering with the quality of the CBD wax.

CO2 extraction – This process requires expertise since it's an intensive process to make CBD wax as pure as possible. Pressurized CO2 pulls out essential oils such as terpenes and flavonoids.

    A Word Of Caution

With the rising demand for CBD wax products, there is also a rising number of unscrupulous businesses looking to exploit consumers by offering high prices for substandard goods. It is important to consider the following:

    • Ensure you purchase CBD wax products from trusted brands
    • Ensure that the THC level is not more than 0.3%
    • Confirm that the ingredients used do not contain any harmful substances such as vitamin E acetate
    • Ensure that the product has undergone intensive independent laboratory testing.

    The Bottom Line

CBD wax has grown popular over the years. The CBD industry, as a whole, has become more and more embraced by younger and older folks alike. Many people are using CBD wax due to its high potency. However, ensure you consult your doctor concerning the right dose for you.

CBD wax can be inhaled using vape pens. The bioavailability is higher since CBD wax would not have to be processed by the digestive system. Instead, it flows into the lungs and is absorbed directly into the bloodstream.

It is incumbent on you to ensure you purchase high-quality CBD wax and vape pens. Some vape pens contain inorganic substances such as vitamin E acetate, which are generally harmful to your lungs and throat. Also, control the temperature at which you combust the wax in the vape pen to avoid damaging your throat and lungs. Learn more about how to use cbd vape pen?
