Cooking with CBD oil is becoming a common method of ingestion of CBD because the flavors mask the CBD taste, and it is fun; you enjoy your favorite food or drink while also ingesting CBD oil. The common way of cooking with CBD oil is baking and mixing CBD with drinks because the oil is not heated directly, and no high temperatures are used. This article will explore the various latte recipes one can incorporate CBD oil.

    Latte Recipes

Latte is a coffee drink made with espresso and steamed milk. Users can replace the coffee with their favorite drink base, like tea. Most of these recipes are easy to make. Evans(2021) noted that one does not need an espresso machine at home to make these recipes.

    Iced Matcha Latte

The total time required to make the iced matcha latte is 5 minutes. Consumers need matcha green tea, milk, ice, 2 tablespoons of CBD oil, water, and a sweetener like sugar or honey. In this recipe, we will use honey. Any jar with a tight lid will work fine if one doesn’t have the traditional matcha tools. When buying matcha, consider a brighter one.

Start by pouring the milk into the jar, then add honey close and shake for them to combine. Pour the sweetened milk into a cup and add ice. Rinse the jar and combine matcha and water, always start with water before adding matcha. Slowly pour the water matcha mixture into a sweetened milk and ice cup. To get cleaner layers, pour the matcha on the ice and not directly on the milk.

Remove from heat and add pumpkin spice, vanilla extract, and CBD oil. Whisk the mixture with ground coffee until it turns frothy; heat for 2 minutes. Transfer the mixture to a mug or cup and top it with whipped cream and nutmeg.

    CBD Oil Latte

One needs milk, cocoa powder, honey, vanilla extract, sea salt, CBD oil, whipped cream, and cinnamon powder. Start by combining milk, cocoa powder, honey, vanilla extract, and salt in a small pot. Heat it over medium heat while whisking to combine the mixture. Remove from the heat and add CBD oil. Transfer to cups and top with whipped cream and cinnamon powder.

Warm the milk, pour it into the French press, and give it 15 strong plunges. Add the espresso to the cup and top it with the milk form. You can sprinkle lavender seeds and a drizzle of honey to decorate.

Other ways to take CBD Oil

    Sublingual Method

This involves adding CBD oil drops under your tongue and holding it for 60 seconds for absorption to take place. CBD oil is absorbed into the bloodstream through the capillaries and tissues in the sublingual layer. The effect of CBD can be felt after 30 minutes.

    Inhalation Method

Black (2020) showed that this method is best for taking CBD oil in vapes or smoking CBD concentrate. This is a faster method since the effect of CBD is felt after 15 minutes. CBD is absorbed into the bloodstream with oxygen in the lungs. Vaping is considered a better method since it does not emit smoke, but the long-run effect of vaping is unknown. Carlos et al. (2019) reported that smoking could cause lung diseases.

    Topical Method

CBD oil can be used on the skin directly in the affected area. Fine& Rosenfeld (2013) explained how CBD oil is absorbed into the skin and binds with ECS receptors. This method is effective for alleviating pain and inflammation. Even though CBD in this method does not go through the bloodstream, it is still slow compared to the other methods of taking CBD.

Cooking with CBD oil is a fun way to explore and broaden your cooking skills with these simple recipes. Starbucks may sell you the best come, but you can improve it by infusing it with CBD oil.
