What are the Benefits of a CBD Disposable Vape?

CBD can be consumed in different ways, such as vaping. Vaping CBD can be done using a vape pen. This article discusses the benefits of a CBD disposable vape, including being light, slim, and discreet.

CBD is widely appreciated for its effect on the body, such as pain relief, alleviating mental disorders, and improving sleep. CBD is not approved for medical use, but it has proved to be a reliable natural remedy for different health conditions. CBD can take many formulations, for example, sublingual, topicals, and vapes. Vaping CBD is considered the most effective way of consuming CBD. The amount/dosage of CBD taken, despite the mode of administration, will depend on the reason. For example, some people use CBD vaping for medical reasons and tolerance. Most beginners start small and gradually increase.

What are the Benefits of a CBD Disposable Vape?

     What is CBD?

CBD (Cannabidiol) is the chemical compound in the cannabis Sativa plant, as described by Pellati et al. (2018). Among the other compounds in the cannabis plant is THC and tetrahydrocannabinol, which have psychoactive properties. Although THC and CBD have been obtained from the same plant, they have different effects on the body. CBD is obtained from the hemp plant, which belongs to the same family as the cannabis plant and contains a small amount of THC.

According to Moltke & Hindocha (2021), CBD can be used to treat some health conditions, including; anxiety, and reduce pain used for epilepsy and other conditions. The farm bill was passed in 2018, where hemp and hemp products were made legal. CBD made its way to the market by being infused in most skin care products. According to Mecha et al. (2013), CBD has an anti-inflammatory property and can calm the body and the mind and relieve pain. CBD has been infused in more products, including foods and drinks, thus making it more available for consumers.

Three types of CBD are used to design most products: isolate CBD, full-spectrum CBD, and broad-spectrum CBD. The difference is based on the availability of the content and ingredients. Full-spectrum CBD contains all the compounds complementing CBD, including THC, which gives the user a high feeling. Therefore, users of the full spectrum CBD products benefit from all the compounds found in the extracted plant, which is why they are less processed.

Broad-spectrum CBD contains all the other compounds and components of the plant except THC. Users of the broad spectrum CBD benefit from all the other compounds found on the plant, but one is not mentally altered since it does not contain THC. CBD isolate is the purest form of CBD (99.9%). It does not contain any plant additives or components that complement CBD. It always comes in the form of powder or pure crystal. Consumers of CBD isolate products do not benefit more from the other active content from the plants.

Vaping and smoking are other ways that CBD can be taken, which is considered the best way to take marijuana. Vaping is achieved by using a cartridge filled with CBD oil or e-liquid, where it is inhaled directly into the lungs. The bioavailability of vaping is approximately 56% which is high compared to other forms.

     How CBD Vapes Work

The human body contains endocannabinoid receptors in the brain, nerves, and skin. CBD works by interacting with the receptors to provide different forms of relief. Unlike  THC, CBD binds the two types of receptors, CB2 and CB1, and thus does not have the psychoactive effect. THC acts on CB1  receptors found in the brain, which is the cause of the impact the compound has on the brain, such as hallucinations. CBD taken through vaping has high bioavailability; thus, the effect surfaces quickly since the compounds are directly absorbed into the bloodstream.

     What Are CBD Vape Pens?

The type of the CBD vaping pen you choose has its advantages and disadvantages. CBD vape pen is a cartridge with a battery and an atomizer already filled with vape juice. Vape pens are divided into two; disposable and refillable. Disposable vape pens are cigarette-like and filled with a vape juice that can be puffed more than a hundred times before depleting. Refillable vape pens are long-lasting and allow the user to replace the vape juice when depleted. Many vaping pens are on the market, making them hard to choose from.

The Pros And Cons Of Using CBD Vape Pens

     Disposable Vape Pens

    Pros

    • They are relatively affordable and thus cost-efficient; anyone can afford them.
    • They require no maintenance
    • They are light, slim, and discreet

     Cons

    • The cloud production is small
    • It cannot be used as a direct lung option

    Refillable Vape Pens

    Pros

    • The airflow can be adjusted
    • Produces bigger clouds compared to disposable vape pens
    • It can be used for different vaping styles

     Cons

    • It is less discrete
    • It might need some slight maintenance
    • Requires initial investments.

     Vape Dosage

There is no exact dosage of CBD vapes; it will depend on why you use it, which might be for medical purposes or tolerance. Whichever the reason, start low and then gradually increases your interest. For example, the lowest you can start is taking 1 to 2 puffs; give it almost two hours to feel the effect before adding. This will enable you to know the exact dosage you need. People take the number of puffs daily; some tend to take 20 to 30 puffs daily for pain and inflammation. However, the amount differs since some can have up to 1000 puffs.

Side Effects Of Using CBD Vapes

Vaping is a common way and considered safe to take CBD; however, its effects are less known. However, the most associated side effect is drowsiness which appears when overdosed. Most beginners also experience it. According to Mathur et al. (2020), other side effects of CBD include increased hunger, red eyes, and euphoria.

    Conclusion

There are many ways of taking CBD, including vaping. Vaping involves the use of vape pens which are designed with a cartridge filled with vape juice. The juice is exposed to a certain temperature and then changed to vapor, directly inhaled into the lungs. Vaping s considered healthy compared to smoking; thus, many people use it to quit smoking. Disposable vapes are used once; however, they can give you up to 225 puffs before they are over. The dosage of CBD vapes will depend on the reason for taking the compound and the body’s tolerance.
