    CBD oil interacts with the ECS to suppress arthritis pain. ECS is responsible for controlling the body like digestion, sleep, pain, and emotion control.     Arthritis patients experience weight loss and reduced appetite due to extreme stiffness and pain. The stiffness affects metabolism, quality of life, and mood. According to Liu (2019), arthritic patients who take CBD oil can have an appetite boost as CBD oil improves appetite and enhance weight gain.

    Forms of Consuming CBD Oil For Arthritis Pain Relief 

    Topical Method

    Sublingual Method 

    The CBD oil is placed under the tongue. The sublingual method allows the oil to be absorbed into the bloodstream through the thin capillaries underneath the tongue. The CBD oil manifests within minutes through sublingual consumption.

    These are foods infused with CBD oil. Edibles are ingested with the food and assimilated into the bloodstream through digestion; unlike the sublingual method, the effects manifest slower. Notably, significant components of the oil could diminish during digestion. While the effects manifest after a relatively long period, their effects last longer in the body.

    Inhaling Method

    Vape pens allow users to smoke the oil; the oil goes through the lungs before it is absorbed into the blood system.

    People who have arthritis and related symptoms can benefit from using CBD oil. The oil helps in reducing the symptoms related to arthritis. Notably, CBD products have not been approved by the FDA; users may obtain sub-standard products from the cannabis market. Hence, users should ensure they buy from credible brands to avoid the adverse effects of sub-standard products. While CBD products have little to zero side effects, improper usage could lead to mild side effects like fatigue, nausea, and diarrhea. Users who experience these side effects should seek medical advice.
